In the complex world of ERISA Fiduciary responsibility:

· How does one benchmark the Plan Fees?

· How does benchmarking support the Fiduciary’s role? 

In this presentation methodologies will be reviewed as well as recent case law . You will learn what are the Commercially available channels and review sample reports. Further, you will learn what are their strengths and weaknesses and what are the alternatives.

About our Speaker:

Philip J. Koehler, Esq., is the founder and CEO of ERISA Fiduciary Administrators, LLC.  Located in Newport Beach, the firm specializes in acting as independent fiduciaries for employer sponsored retirement plans.  An ERISA attorney with over 40 years experience in both the law firm and accounting firm worlds, as well as insurance companies and TPAs. After completing his undergraduate work at University of Texas at Austin, he earned an MBA from UCI’s Graduate School of Management and earned his JD from University of Southern California.

Phil has represented thousands of organizations in the design and operation of their employee benefit and executive compensation plans, appearing on their behalf in the context of IRS and US Department  of Labor examinations as well as negotiating favorable settlements of fiduciary breach and wrongful denial of benefits claims. He is a Professor of Qualified Pension and Profit Sharing Plans and Executive Compensation at Chapman University School of Law.

Doors open at 7:30 a.m. for check-in, breakfast and networking.  Our program will begin at 8:00 a.m. and this program will end at approximately 9:30 a.m.  The registration fee includes a full breakfast buffet and hosted parking in the self-parking lot at the Hotel Irvine.

The reservation deadline for this event is Friday, October 10, 2014.
