As more Americans prepare for retirement, questions still remain about whether there will be enough funds in Social Security to provide the benefits promised.

This presentation gives a detailed overview of how Social Security works:

· Why it’s important

· How benefits are taxed

· Ways you can address the benefits crisis with baby boomers

· Case studies that illustrate the decisions many investors face as they approach retirement

  About Our Speaker:

Thomas Rowley, is the Director of Retirement and Education Strategies with Invesco. Tom’s responsible for analyzing the evolving retirement landscape and for developing actionable strategies to help investors ad financial advisors maximize their retirement planning opportunities.

Tom’s insights reflect more than 20 years of experience in the investment industry. He brings a knowledgeable perspective to retirement planning and explains the complexities of legislative, investment, tax and social issues with clear examples and plain speech. Tom graduated from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

    Doors open at 7:30 a.m. for check-in, breakfast and networking.  Our program will begin at 8:00 a.m. and this program will end at approximately 10:00 a.m.  The registration fee includes a full breakfast buffet and hosted valet parking.

    The reservation deadline for this event is Thursday, March 9.
