MEPs, PEPs, 3(16), and

State Sponsored Plans

 The Presentation:

  •  IS THERE A MEP OR PEP IN YOUR FUTURE?
  • HOW IS 3(16) FIDUCIARY RESPONSIBILITY CARRIED OUT?
  • WHO ARE THE FIDUCIARIES IN EACH OF THESE ARRANGEMENTS?
  • WHAT IS THE PRACTICAL IMPACT OF THE EXECUTIVE ORDER ON MEPS?
  • WHAT IMPACT WILL THESE ARRANGEMENTS HAVE ON LIFE AS WE KNOW IT?

Our speakers will provide an integrated view of Multiple Employer Plans, combining the legal with the practical. They will also discuss the most active legislative proposals, including PEPs; MEPs in the states, such as Secure Choice in California and Green Mountain in Vermont; and touch on 403(b) MEPS.  Finally, they will review the nuts and bolts of the delegation of fiduciary authority under a MEP, and the issues you need to be concerned with, including compensation.
